We looked on unsigned.com for an unsigned pop rock band whose song we could use for our music video. We decided to use the song 'Sleepwalk Avenue' by unsigned band A Day Overdue, as it sounded similar to other pop rock bands we had looked at.
In order to get the lyrics to the song, we emailed the band:
"Hi,
We're a group of A Level Media students from Birmingham and as part of our coursework we have to produce a music video using an unsigned band.
We came across your music by chance on unsigned.com and after listening to a few songs decided that we would use your song - 'sleepwalk avenue' (if that's ok with you!) We were wondering if you could email back with the lyrics so that we can effectively incorporate them in our music video?

We recieved an email back containing the lyrics and the mp3 to the song. Therefore, we can now complete a timeline for our music video using the lyrics so that our finished product is meticulously planned.
